making stew...need help!

I'm using my crock pot for the first time. Making a stew but don't know when to add canned vegetables...any advice?

Depends on if you want them to be mush. I'd add them in the last30-45 minutes. They only need to be warmed up and do not take long to absorb the "stew" flavor lol. Fresh veggies need longer to cook though.

Ok what about the Potatoes that are fresh?

Not sure. I use fresh veggies and frozen peas. I add the frozen veggies 30 minutes before we eat

 I would add the canned stuff about 30 minutes before the stew will be done. I usually put the fresh potatoes in at the beginning.

I'm not sure about canned. Fresh veggies are what I always use. But the fresh potatoes and carrots always go in at the start. They are rather dense, so they can take a while to cook fully.

Everything fresh goes in at the beginning and depending on how you like the other veggies I'd put them in the last 30 min to a hour
