Tonight is my very first night alone with my lo since he's been born (he's a month old). Dh got called into work and I'm a little nervous about being alone with him at night! Any advice on how to not feel overwhelmed?

Thanks so much!

Just do what you normally do. If you get to overwelmed put baby in a safe place (crib, swing, ect) and walk away for a couple minutes.

I've been on my own since day 1 with both my kids. Dh didn't have leave when ds was born and with dd the help I had took care of ds I took care of dd

Just do what you do, trust yourself and your instincts! If you go in confident you will be more successful, and don't forget that you baby can feel ur stress so don't make it any harder on yourself than it needs to be.

Well just relax, stressing yourself will be harder. Just do what you normally do and you will be fine. When ever he gets up to eat. After his done. If you have a rocking chair sit down and rock him put some soft baby music. That will put him back to sleep. My daughter loves sleeping with baby music. She will fall asleep within minutes. Good luck.
