Am I the only one not celebrating Valentines day?

I decided (like, actually decided) to not do Valentines Day this year. It made me happier! My husband and I have always done something before- cards, dinner, flowers... and we are actually better off this year than we've ever been. So, I guess when I think about it, it's sort of funny for me to say 'hey let's NOT this year!'

Anyone else not doing anything?

We just do cards and choc for the girls. We can't get out by ourselves anyway.

I get little stuff for the kids, do heart shaped foods and fun crafts. My husband and I usually don't do anything.

Nope i'm not either. My valentine is in my tummy. Lol!

we are, df is taking me to dave and busters (video games yay!) then he has a surprise in the mall for me....were still trying to decide if were going to go to the movies yet and i hope we do i really want to see warm bodies

Nope not celebrating it this year. My husband has been at recruiting school since January 7 and won't be back till next week. But he's surprising our daughter tomorrow by getting balloons shipped to her classroom for her :)

We don't celebrate Valentine's Day. We prefer everyday-appreciation.

Dh & I haven't celebrated Vday for quite a few years. We agreed that if we are going to be romantic only one day of the year it would be spontaneous and not when Hallmark tells us to lol

We aren't doing anything either. its a thursday, so the kids have school the next day, we don't have a sitter, and our little one will be almost 3 weeks old then, and I'm nursing. So its a no go this year. I'm making a nice dinner at home with sparkling cider and cookies for my kiddos. Thats it.
