MY niece is complaining that her nono area hurts

My neice told me and her other aunt that her peepee hurt bad. She said it burns. I asked if it hurts when she pees and she told me no only her peepee hurts? What could it be. I'm telling her mom to take her to the doctor.

Maybe not being washed good enough. My dd had a
Similar issue when she started showering by herself. So I went back per how to clean it properly and no more issues. Could also be a uti or she could even be having a reaction to the soap she is using

My guess would be a UTI.

Probably a yeast infection.... UTI would make it hurt when she pees & she'd be peeing every couple minutes.

For a yeast infection, go to Walmart & buy a foot cream called CLOTRAMIZOL (no added ingredients) MUST BE 100% Clotramizol. This is the medication for athletes foot, but will ALSO treat yeast infections, since it's the same type of fungus that causes both.

Good luck! :) & remind her to always wipe from front to back & not touch herself, unless she has washed her hands first. Also, only use baby shampoos for bubbles in the bath. Cheap bubble baths cause yeast infections.

Uti or yeast infection. My dd hasn't had a uti but slight overactive bladder. She gets the pain and burning from her bladder spasms.

possibly a yeast infection. Even babies can get them.

Sounds like a yeast infection. Her pedi can give her diflucan. My dd is on it now and it's helping after two days and this has been on and off for 4 months of using nystatin creams
