We waited till 6. After my first son it was too painful though so we tried a few weeks later and it was still too painful and it kept going like that until it was better. Then with my second son we waited till 6 and it wasnt as bad.

Lol like three weeks. We used a condom and bought some water based lube just in case.

I had c-sections and my doctor gave me the okay to have sex after 2 weeks. But make sure your partner wears a condom as the risk for infection is there.

With oldest DD I waited about 4 weeks, tried it and it didn't work out and didn't try again till after 6 weeks.

With my youngest I waited until the night before my 6 week follow up. I should have waited longer though cause my pelvic bone had separated.

My doctor said that as long as I was safe (used a condom) and listened to my body I could have sex as soon as I stopped bleeding. Just be very careful because you can get pregnant very early on and you are at risk for infection. So go slow, and use protection.
