My daughter has a fever (temp by ear) 101.2 but no signs of sickness other than hanging on me. Should I call the 24 hr line or call in the morning. Shes my first. Never been sick.

Updated. Feeling better.

As long as she is acting OK (not lethargic) and she still has pee diapers, she is OK. If it gets higher or it would make you more comfortable, give her some Tylenol and a lukewarm bath. That should break the fever. It really isn't high enough that you "need" medicate if you don't feel it is needed.

That's actually considered a low grade fever, docs don't say it's a fever until its over 100. I would just keep her on Tylenol or ibuprofen, whatever you use or her weight allows.

give her baby Tylenol, and a cool bath. If her fever doesnt break in an hour or so take her to hosp. If it breaks, keep an eye on it and take her to pedi in AM.
