I ran over a cat today, but... EDIT FOR THE HATERS.

I thought it was a squirrel. And I looked in my rear view mirror and it was my neighbors cat. It was meowing and stuff and trying to run away. So I left it there and went to Walmart anyway.

Would you tell your neighbor if you hit it's cat? He's been looking for it. It's about a half a mile down the street...laying there. But I feel bad. And I don't want him to make me buy him another cat.

Um sorry my kids come first, and if my spawn needed diapers, I don't care about a dying cat. So whatever on that.

Second, I got some nasty private messages. Just wanna make this clear ; it was a white cat, so this wasn't a hate crime.

 .... I haven't a clue what I'd do..

Hopefully I would have pulled over and at least moved the cat to where he couldn't be continously hit.. and then contacted my neighbor to apologize.

Me too. But I would avoid the smashed kitty like it was the plague. Yuck!

And I wouldn't buy anyone another cat...

My thoughts, if he had his cat inside or on a leash then his cat wouldn't be laying in the street. I would not tell him, would you want your neighbor to go looked for the body?

Yes I would have pulled over and taken him the cat especially if it was still alive. Can't believe you jus left your neighbors pet to suffer and die

Just be sure you get your dish back from the neighbor!
