Now I'm Crying! :(

I started a new job a few weeks ago & feel like I don't see my kids enough anymore. I was so excited to get home an hour & half early today. I made dinner, cleaned up the mess, & got Kaylee (4yo DD) into the car to go pick out a redbox movie for us to watch together.
We got home & in the 5mins it took me to hook up the DVD player in her room, she fell asleep. :*-(
Joey (8yoDS) went to his cousin's house for the week (spring break).
And Mackenzie (13yoDD) wants nothing to do with me.......

I love everything about my new job, EXCEPT that I miss my kids so damn much. :*-(

Will this pain & hurt ever go away? Maybe I'm not made to be a working mom? :/ NEVER thought I'd say those words..... UGH!

*curls up & cries*

Idk I'm still a sahm ... my mom went back to work after the youngest was in school and she likes not being around her kids... maybe make special weekend time or a longer bed time routine.

I don't like working for that reason. It sucks. There are going to be times that you won't see them at all.... But it will make you treasure the times that you do see them. As for the 13yo, don't worry too much, she's a preteen after all

Some people don't have that privilege. :/

We've barely made it the past 4 years since I left my career when Kaylee was born sick. For financial reasons, me having a job is WAY overdue.

That doesn't mean I can't hate it. -_- *stomps feet & has a tantrum*

Would it be wrong for me to wake Kaylee up? :/

*sigh* I kid. I kid.

You'd be surprised what you could do, to feed your children. ;)

I'm sure you could, if you had to.

Hell, I'm thankful that this job landed in my lap when it did. My 13yo has a trip this month. $1,500 later & without this job, we would have had to say no. :(

Sure, working sucks, but I can't bring myself to say "no" all the time anymore.

At least DH has been off of work. They have had a lot of time w/ him, which is nice, but VERY different from what all of us are used to. :/

That feeling never entirely went away for me but it did get better. I just had to make sure that the time I did have with him was quality time. I said, "Screw the cleaning, I can clean when he's asleep."
