We have a family of 4, one of them being a 9 month old. We spend about $250 for 2 weeks worth of groceries. We have things like spaghetti with garlic bread, philly steak wraps, baked chicken and rice, stuffed pork chops, hamburgers/hamburger steaks with fries.. Its pretty easy to make $200 stretch two weeks if its only you and DS eating.

Are there any foods your ds doesn't like? will he eat spicy foods? Is he allergic to anything?

1 mom liked this
What I do is buy meat, snack and packaged sutff and freezer stuff in bulk for the month and veggies and fruit weekly. We normally spend about 400 a month for a family of 4. I'm trying to cut that down to 300. I do it this way to make sure that fresh stuff doesn't go bad.

Not that i know of. He will eat spicy but i try not give him alot of it. Sometimes he can be picky. He likes mac and cheese if made a certain way. He pretty much will eat anything.

I would love to know how to make chili.he likes spagetti and chicken. We stay buying sandwich meats and cheese but he has began to just eat the cheese sometimes the meat.

I was going to buya bunch of meats but i am not that good of a cook. And im tired of frozen meals and hot pockets etc all the time. Im so used to my mom always cooking meals wheni got with so it was different he doesnt eat all meats. So i stopped eating my usual stuff. I would love to be set for a month of food it would help alot

Do you have a Sam's club or Costco? What we do is buy chicken breasts and salmon in bulk every 2 weeks from Sam's Club. That is about $22 every 2 weeks. Then we package them seperately and freeze, pull down as needed. We get all our beef from a local butcher here and that is about $40 every 2 weeks. Then we buy frozen veggies to last for 2 weeks and I make things like stir fry, mexican chicken, stroganoff, sloppy joe, tacos...
