My 18 month old hates being in his carseat, so recently I've just been buckling him up with the regular seatbelt. I'm a good driver, and never had an accident in my life. I gave my neighbor a ride yesterday, and when she saw me just putting Jack in the regular seatbelt, she told me I was breaking the law? I might be a young mom (I just turned 20) but I've never heard of it being a law a kid needs a carseat. Besides, the seatbelt fits him just right. (He's a big boy, he weighs 34 pounds). She told me she's gonna call the cops next time she sees my car on the road. Why can't she mind her own business? There wasn't carseats back in the day and everyone turned out ok?
