I wanted to remove my iud but i dont have any insurance. I did some research online, and read about it. I read that you can do it at home, but their are risks/dangers about doing it at home. Im just wondering if anyones ever done this and if so can can u give me some advise on how to do it or should i just go to the doctor?

I would have a doctor remove it. I'm pretty sure you could do some damage trying to remove it yourself.

I wouldn't risk it.

i agree with the others.  I would not want to risk the things that could go wrong and then end up with a much larger medical bill due to me wanting to save money.

Please don't attempt it. You could really damage yourself.

Go to the free clinic or planned parenthood in your area... The risks or getting an infection like PID are huge, and you could scar your cervix making it harder to conceive later... Ultimately, have a Dr do it.

I think you should let a doctor do it. Does sounds good about the risks and dangers doing at home. Be safe and let a doctor do it.

Why are you removing it?

I'd have a doctor do it. No way would I attempt that.

I don't even see how you could, but my sister in law removed her at home with no problems. But me personally I went to the doctor.

I think you should have a doctor remove it, in PA, they have insurance for women that only covers gynecological stuff like that, maybe your state has that too? Look into it, it's worth it.
