The blue on the right is my bedroom set. I am honking about painting a dresser the chocolate brown and stenciling the pattern on the right on it. Would it look funny? I will put the dresser in the replies. He dresser doesn't match the rest of my bedroom furniture my bedroom furniture was made for me by my grandpa and will not be painted.

Stencil just the drawers and paint the dresser solid. Finding new hardware may be difficult.

That's my plan but does it match ok? I don't want it to look too funny

As Lon as they aren't right next to each other it should be fine. You may also want to turn the stencil 46 degrees so you have a diamond instead if a square.

Just dont honk the horn too hard.......   I agree with the others.   Did you want to replace the hardware as well or leave that plain brass?
