I don't understand. What's so bad about a child knowing males are born with a penis and will grow up to develop facial hair? Or that a woman has a vulva and breasts and that they are for the purpose of breastfeeding(whether or not they function correctly)? Obviously your kids can look at a man and woman and tell that woman have lumps on their chests that men don't. Why not give them a name?

as a matter of fact i sure do! i think the sex sales thing has gotten out of hand. and the fact that kids way too young know way more about this topic than they should it concerns me even more. just my opinion

Quoting redbutterfly666:

do you think the same of Victoria secret commercials?

so do you not let your kids see you in your underwear? do you hide and lock the door? and do you not teach your kids that women have boobs and vaginas and need to wear bras and panties to keep them covered, and that men have penises and wear boxers/boxer briefs ect to cover their stuff?

no ill do it when I feel its age appropriate for my children! and at 4 years old thats not the time. he knows he has a pee pee and girls dont and thats as much as he needs to know at this time!

Quoting Goth_mom13:

sooooo youre one of those moms.....your oldest never asks questions like "why do i have this part and my little brother/sister has this part"? when is the right time? when they are in high school and have sex for the first time not knowing a darn thing about the human body? or will you let them think the human body is disgusting and should be hidden at all times and they shouldnt even look at themselves naked?

my oldest knows he has a penis and girls dont and at this age thats all he needs to know. i never said im going to shelter my children from knowing things about life but i do say at 4 years old theres stuff he should know and theres stuff he has no business knowing in detail. this is why there's children in elementary school talking about sex and stuff like that. they're learning some things at way too early of an age in my opinion.

My kids are definitely not talking about sex. There's a difference between understanding different body structures and how two people have intercourse. Plus most kids look it up online and learn watching porn, not because their parents spoke with them about how intercourse works.

Lol me too. And most kids(younger ones anyways) wouldnt understand that its supposed to be their balls jingeling. I'd just tell my kids they are dancing. If they asked why in their underwear.... Well kmart sells underwear. I don't think its a huge deal.

Quoting thefiregoddess: I think it's hilarious.
