Say you had to throw away any and all sources of income, your paycheck, investments, savings, whatever it is that you and/or your SO do to make money and all you'll get is $1600 for the month, flat out.

Would that be enough for you to make it without having to get on public assistance of any kind?

If we had no house or cars sure. U can't get a three br for less than 1500/m here. Our mortgage is 1600.
