Well when I was younger it was 5 dollars an hour but I am not sure what the going rate is and being that it is over night I am not sure. :) Good luck finding your information out. :)

Usually it's $10-12/hour

However you might find someone like myself who does it cheaper to help my friend out.
I watch her 2 kids for 11 hours for only $40(one los os only $20).

Childcare is definitely not cheap anymore! Lol

For random sitting, we pay between $10 and $15 an hour. The going rate here is $10/hour for one child.

However, I know that generally long term arrangements are less, and a set rate. Remember that regardless of you providing food or whatever, this is a job for her, she is sleeping away from her home, and she should be compensated fairly. If it's full time, overnight, I would expect to pay $200/weekly.

I am a Home Schooling, Vaccinating, Non spanking, Nightmare Cuddling, Dessert Giving, Bedtime Kissing, Book Reading, Stay at Home Mom. I believe in the benefit of organized after school activities and nosy, involved parents. I believe in spoiling my children. I believe that I have seen the village and I do not want it anywhere near my children. Now for the controversial stuff:  we're Catholic, we're conservative, and we own guns (now there's no need to ask, lol).             Aimee
