I joined cafemom back in 2006 when I was pregnant with my first child. I would cruise around the site, read some post and comment on. Enjoyed it for a while be eventually got tired of all the controversy so I stopped coming on. Then I decided to try it again while I was pregnant with my daughter in 2010 and quickly saw that nothing had changed. Now, its 2014, 8 years and I am on my 3rd child and it is still the same thing. Seriously, this is like high school all over again. The breastfeeding moms think the formula feeding moms are poisoning their children, formula feeding moms think breastfeeding in public is like porn, moms get bashed for asking medical questions online, working moms neglect their children, stay at home moms are lazy, too old to be a mom, too young to be a mom, don't know how to spell well enough to be a mom, etc. Anonymous posters are the meanest. Some moms who've been on cafemom for a long time have some type of "senority" which gives them the right to be mean as well. Everyone always looking for a way to scrutinize the other. Being a mom is tough no matter which mommy method you decided to use. It is sad that women are always putting each other down, especially since we get enough of that from society. Just a random thought...carry on.
