My son will be going into Kindergarten this year and i was told he had to do a screening test. What is this test about? What do they ask him?

They test colors, shapes, counting, abcs, cutting with scissors, speech, hearing, stuff like that.

They usually do vision and hearing. They have the child hop, skip, and jump. They have them trace some shapes and cut paper. I believe they identify shapes and do some matching. A few simple things with letters, numbers, and words. It just helps them to identify where they child is at academically.

What both moms said above. It helps them even out clesses so there isn't one super advance class & then a "normal" class. My DS will be going next week to get his assesment done.

It's pretty basic, numbers, abc, shapes, colors, to make sure the child is where he's supposed to be.
