My husband and I want four kids, but I'm not sure when to have the last one. We currently have an 8 year old boy, a 7 year old girl, and a 14 month old boy. From past experiences it takes me 6 months to get pregnant after I quit using birth control. Please let me know your experience and suggestion on age separation. Thanks.

I only have two...mine are both girls they are 6 almost 7 and 3. They get along pretty good. However me and my siblings are 22months we get along and 18months and me and my youngest is 5yrs apart. We all fought but now as adults we mainly get along just fine...good luck

My older two kids are 5 years apart and my younger two are 17 months apart. Both have there good and bad. Everything has worked out though. Our oldest will be 12 1/2 when our last is born. I'm not sure I will enjoy that age gap. We our oldest starts her senior year the baby will just be starting kindergarten.

At that point, it really doesn't make a difference, they're close enough that a year won't change much. I love the age gaps as they are currently.

My son is 7 1/2, my daughter will be 3 in 2 months and I'm having my 3rd this month. My son was 4 1/2 when I had my daughter and I think I liked that age gap better than I will like the gap between my daughter and this baby. But it also had a lot to do with their personalities.

I only have 2 and they are 16 months apart. My daughter is 20 months old and my son is 4 months. It's difficult sometimes but also a lot of fun!
