When did you stop breastfeeding?

Hey moms :)

So my daughter is 6 months old, she was exclusively breast fed up until recently when I started her on some homemade baby foods, still breastfeeding though.  My question is, when did you stop breastfeeding your baby, and why?

I just noticed this post so sorry for popping in, all my kids are grown, ideally breast feed for a year or until ONE of you wants to stop, your needs are just as important as your childs. There is no one correct answer, in my opinion.

We aim for self weaning.

My daughter just turned one and shes still nursing for 75% of her nutrition.

DS1 was 3 when he weaned, DS2 is still nursing at 2, and I'm expecting my third any day now.

I didn't get to bf my daughter for very long because I wasn't feeding her enough. But we did it for 2 months. If I could have I would have stopped when she was a year old.
