Hey all....just wanted to post this info to get the word out there....I was shocked! Aparently play sand sold in stores for sandboxes and playgrounds, etc has horrible chemicals and other bad things in it including crystalline silica, which is known to cause all kinds of lung problems and even causes cancer! Some of the sands even have abstesos in it!! The state of California is trying to do something about this....check out this website.....the sand on here is totally safe, totally pricey, but hey, I don't want my daughter playing with and breathing in cancer causing sand!!! Even if you are not interesting in purchasing sand from this company, there is all kinds of info on her about the sand issue.....I say it is a must read for every parent!! www.safesand.com
