Has anyone ever used the Peanut Shell Sling or Balboa Baby Adjustable Sling by Dr. Sears? These are the two I've been looking into getting for my DD, due in October. I really would like to be able to nurse her hands-free, since I have a very active 2 year old DS. Suggestions???

I do not have either but I plan on getting the peanutshell.  A good friend of mine loved her.  I had a moby wrap for my first and loved it but thought it was too much fabric for when I went out.  And she said it's very easy to use, which is a must since I will have 2 lil ones.  We both breastfeed and she said it could be discrete when you are out.

I have a sling that is of a similar construct as the Peanut Shell, it is called the New Native American Baby Carrier..these existed before PS, in fact.

I really like this sling and use it until my baby gets too big and it is too snug on us (there is no way to adjust it looser). Because I am larger in the bust area, it may not fit me as long as it may fit another mom.

Anyways, it worked really well for my babies at one year and under, and what I loved about it was it was simple to use with no adjustments needed, was lightweight and not too bulky, and folded down to the size of a diaper..would fit in virtually any diaper bag.  HTH!
