Do you happen to know what the rules are about midwives or naturalpaths delivering VBACs in Arizona? I have contacted a couple of midwives in the area but have had no response. I had a c-section in 97, VBAC in 2006 and a c-section in 07. The doctor suggested to only have c-sections but I would rather try for a VBAC again. We are planning on having a couple more children and are not expecting. We will be moving to Tucson area in about a year.

Well I have heard it go both ways.  I have heard that some midwives will do them, but mostly all doctors in town will not touch a VBAC with a 10 ft pole!  Here is the name of a local homebirth midwife Lisa Block.  And here are some other's I found after googling Tucson Midwives

You will have to call them to see who will do a VBA2C.  Also try Mothering.com, their forums are an excellent resource for this sort of thing.

I have also heard that Grace Maternity will do VBAC's, I actually went there for care with my DS but didn't need a VBAC so I didn't think to ask.

Most midwives are afraid of doing vabcs.  BUT can always find one who might bend the rules a tad...I did and had twins at home.  It's matter of knowing what you want and finding a way :)

Good luck!
