As a reunited birth mother, I am in favor of keeping moms and babies together whenever possible. I want to offer some support, hope and resources for women who may be scared and uncertain about parenting - a first child or another child. Separating mothers and babies should be a last resort.

This groups is not appropriate for potential adoptive parents who are looking for a baby to adopt. A pregnant woman considering her options needs to consider her options without input from potential adoptive parents. Adoption is complicated, and can sometimes create more issues than it resolves. I do not recommend placing a child for adoption except in extreme situations and will share with you why I feel this way as will others.

I am pro-parenting and want to support women who might otherwise be pressured into adoption and/or choose adoption because they believe all the fairy tale hype.

Mothers of all ages who have experienced or are now experiencing an unexpected pregnancy and are considering their options are welcome. If you need support and encouragement or want to share your experiences and help others, welcome!
