Well I have some old favorites of crafts for this day. Especially when kids had to stay in due to the weather.
Making a Shamrock
Materials:
1 pages of green construction paper
1 pair of safety scissors
Glue (for the stem)
Ok here is what you do:
Fold the sheet of construction paper in half not longwise. With a pencil draw a large letter B. Out of the scraps you can fashion the stem. Using glue add it to your shamrock.
For a spin on this...You can Draw a circle using a can of beans of whatever you have in the middle of your shamrock. With scissors you can cut this out. Now you have a hole where you can place a favorite photo.
One thing my kids did was tell me what they thought of St.Patrick's Day like gold, rainbows, leprechauns and fairy's. I let them draw pictures or cut them out of magazines and let them glue in the four corners.
So if anyone does this, please take pictures and share.
Have a great day!:)
