Quoting snowflake9903:Hi I just joined and my craft is Crocheting and knitting my two favorite hobbies. my husband thinks i am being old because i am only 32 and i shouldn't being doing those two hobbies. i can't help it, i taught myself how to Crocheting when i was pregnant with my two year old and i haven't stopped. i am crazy for doing this hobby
I love to craft and I am always looking for tips, ideas, new ways of doing things! I think that this group is a fabulous idea, thanks for starting it! Love, Snowflake
Quoting CareCare:Hi! I knew how to do some basic crochet when I was younger, but haven't done any in years. I've done different crafts over the years, including cross-stitch & plastic canvas, but right now I'm mostly making jewelry.... Tell your husband that there's nothing about working on crafts that means you're getting old. When I was 15 my 17 yr. old boyfriend taught me to do cross-stitch; imagine that.Quoting snowflake9903:Hi I just joined and my craft is Crocheting and knitting my two favorite hobbies. my husband thinks i am being old because i am only 32 and i shouldn't being doing those two hobbies. i can't help it, i taught myself how to Crocheting when i was pregnant with my two year old and i haven't stopped. i am crazy for doing this hobby

I'm new to the group, so I just wanted to drop a line to introduce myself.
I am a certified craft-aholic, and my goal in life is to tackle as many crafts as humanly possible :)
I enjoy many crafts, from cross stitch, to jewelry making, to scrapbooking. My weak areas are knitting an crocheting- I can only do a strait line in both. Suffice to say I make a lot of scarves :)
I've been trying to make a go of selling my crafts, and if interested, you can view my shop at www.ravenworks.etsy.com Anyone else who's interested in selling their crafts, I'd highly suggest joining Etsy.com. Go, check it out, even if it's just to get inspired by others. If you sign up, please just put me as your referal. My username is ravenworks.
Thanks, and I look forward to trading tips and advice with all of you :)
Just so ya'll know that on Wednesday nights from 9 to 10 p.m. (EST) on another website for women: http://www.wowwomen.com I host a craft chat. Also on that website in the message boards I post most of the crafts I have done previously some with instructions on how to do them like making a loom. So another resource for all of you.
Have a great day!:)
I am looking forward to conversing with all of you and wish you all good luck in your crafting.
Cindy
Welcome JennJD ilovepuzzles cindyjlilley!
Yes puzzles are a craft just like cooking. Currently I have learned to bead on a loom. As well as learning the peyote even count stitch off loom. Today I hope to post my first design of a beaded bracelet. Please give feed back on what you all think!
If anyone has new crafts or rediscovered an older craft, tricks or tips please feel free to post them.
Have a great day!:)
