Eco friendly use of urban trees

Urban Logs to Lumber is removing trees that otherwise would end up in our landfills.  They use a portable sawmill to cut out slabs and lumber.  They make really nice things with the wood, also it's been used for green architecture.  This is a link to their facebook page - They could use some more fans as 1000 is the minimum to become a permanent fan page I think.

I volunteered with them over the summer. It was awesome and I learned to use a chainsaw!
