This is YOUR party!  You are responsible for knowing where you are on the list and having all the correct information to Barbara in a timely manner.  We've created these parties to help our members save money and to help you and your business grow, not create a headache for ourselves.  If you are sent a private message requesting information or clarification of some sort, please DO NOT ignore them.  If you do not respond, you will forfeit your place in line and depending on the circumstance may not be able to rejoin the list.

It is your responsibility to promote your party.  You should tell everyone you know, post journals, etc.  We will help you out by posting a thread in all the Deals & Steals affiliated groups.  It is also your responsibility to review the "Party Post" at least once a day (multiple times per day is better, but not required) to answer questions, create some virtual fun and generally keep the party going.

Our parties are for Moms selling products.  I think there might be some other groups here that do what you are talking about, just not sure which.  Try doing a search.

I would like to do a party. I don't no how all this works. Would need some help. I make personalized childrens books and would like to promote my business more and get more sales. Also, the way I am looking at it is that somebody can host a party for my products. I can offer 1 free personalized book for every 10 sold through a party host or offer some type of freebie for buyers also. If that's the way it's run. Not sure. I can make the ads for host if I need where they can copy and paste. Please help in showing me how this is done. My products are on my profile but i want more exposure and I believe a party would be great. Thank You, carolyn

hi i was wondering y the parties were getting suspened???? and how soon do u think they will be back up??? i have waited months and months for my party and it was 3rd in line this time and now i gotta wait longer.

Well, for starters... no one is ordering.  The current Mary Kay Party has no orders and the party ends tomorrow.  The last few parties have had no orders for that matter.  It is a lot of work putting these together, promoting them and working out all the details and quite frankly the reps don't seem to even want to promote their own parties.  I can't do it all, neither can my admins.

We are considering restructuring the program with incentives to order and trying to come up with ways for the reps to get involved in promoting the parties.  We need to work together to get each other orders, isn't that the whole point?  We are trying to help moms grow their business as well as save our members a few bucks.

Any and all ideas or suggestions are welcome.

Excellent post I agree I have spent alot of time and energy answering emails, and trying to get people to respond to my emails, I couldnt have said this better, however I dont think we should have to come up with incentives to get people to order, they are already getting a iscount they wouldnt either wise get, this is supposed to be MOM's Supporting other Business MOM's but nobody is ordering at all, and it is highly disappointing for all who have worked so hard trying to make this work
