Looking for something gentle on baby clothes, but strong enough to remove poop. Thanks!

borax. i think its pretty gentle. and it works miracles, on any clothing. it comes in a box at kroger and stuff, its a green box, and you can make funny lil gooey stuff with the kids with it lol

I use oxyclean to treat the poop right away, and it works great. Another great tip is that if you air dry clothes out in the sun, stains are very likely to come out! Give either or both options a try and hopefully you will have success!
