We just started it this past week. We've gotten two movies from it and we like it so far. We won't be doing it all the time because it's just a supplement for our Netflix. We cut back from two movies to one unlimited and sometimes the wait it too much for us for the next one, even though it's only a two day wait. lol
Great! We rent from them all the time! I have nothing bad to say about it!
We recieved a bad dvd one time that would not play so I called Redbox up and they apologized and thanked me for calling to let me know and asked for some info on the dvd so they could hold it when I returned it. They gave me 2 codes to use for the next time (free movies).
We rent from redbox all the time. It's so easy and cheap. Also drop off anywhere is such a bonus. I rent wherever I'm shopping and hubby drops off at the wal-mart he passes on his way to work. New releases for $1. Also unlike netflix and blockbuster's programs, you can rent or not rent. Sometimes you have time to watch a movie and sometimes you have other things going on and there isn't enough time. With redbox, it doesn't matter because you aren't wasting your money if you don't rent. And with netflix and blockbuster, there are only so many movies I want to see out at one time. After you've seen all the good ones, you still have to pay your monthly charge. Never was a good fit for us. Bottom line. We love Redbox!!

Love it. It is great for trips because you can pick it up in one state and return it in another, as long as they have it, of course :) Plus, I'm really bad at remember to return movies, so if I forget to bring it back it only cost $1 instead of the $5 is costs at our local dvd rental place.
LOVE Redbox!! We use them weekly for sure. It's so easy and convenient. You can return your movie to ANY redbox, too... doesnt have to be the same one you rented from. I love that!!
Sign up on their website and they will text you a free movie rental each monday. It's only good for Monday, but still-- free movie!
The Redbox business here works out of a climate-controlled storage unit. They set up tables in the hallway and line up their boxes that they need to pack and take to each kiosk. Then they slide the movies down the tables to one another. It's pretty cool watching them work. My unit is adjacent, lol.

For us, it's a great option. We primarily rent kid's movies and spending $5 at Blockbuster is silly. My husband would also tend to buy every new kid's movie and we don't need to spend $20 until we've seen it and know that it's a keeper.
The availability is not the greatest, but you can't beat the price and convenience..no endless ambling around the video store while the kids pick out their video, etc.
Wish the had games for rental too!
Quoting harpme:
Wasn't there a time when a poster would leave codes for Sundays for Red Box every week? Since I now am now a frequent user, I'd appreciate if that was made available again to this group. Any one know where this person (poster) is at? Thanks!
It is available in the Hot Topics forum: Inside Redbox - Free Movies! (Post Codes Here)

We have had nothing but great experiances from red box. We had an incident last week where one of the movies just wouldnt return so my husband had to call customer service and they walked him through the process and then gave him a free rental for the problems he had. We've been using red box for a while now. And for only $1/a movie, cant beat that anywhere!
