Anthony & I are "officially" engaged!! He proposed to me last night and I accepted! We are very excited! We haven't set a date yet, but i'm sure we will soon so I'll keep you all posted!
It was really sweet & cute how he did it. We were going to our usual pre-marital counseling appointment and it just so happened that the pastor we counsel with did not show up. Something had came up and he had emailed us about it but we had already left. We sat and talked with someone else for a while waiting for him and then we found that out. So, we left and went out to the car. I was getting in the car and he said, "What are you doing?" I said, "Umm, i'm getting in the car to leave, what else?" LOL!!! He said, "I need to do something." Then he pulled it out, the ring box! He opened it and asked the question! I was in complete shock, i couldn't believe it. We had been talking about it for a while so it's not a complete surprise but i was just wondering when it would actually happen. LOL! It was really sweet too. He doesn't have extra money to throw around so he couldn't afford to get a ring but the ring he gave me was a ring that his mom gave him to let me wear temporarily until we can go find a ring that i really like. The funny part is this, it doesn't even fit! It's on my pinky and it's still a little tight! LOL! It was just too sweet though. I know it just came from his heart and that's all that matters. :)
We went out to eat last night afterwards and i said, "So, now you are my fiance'!" LOL! :)
The reality of all of this has been sinking in today and i am just so excited! Aiden is going to be the ring bearer i know that for sure! LOL! :)
