What is everyone doing for Christmas Eve & Christmas Day! Are you cooking? What's on the menu? Any new recipes to share? Happy Holidays!
I just saw this post! We have an Open House on Christmas Eve. It goes from 12-2 pm. Usually 40-50 people come by. After 2 it is just our kids/grandkids for presents.
Menu was-
chili, Tex Mex chicken chowder, pulled pork, jambalaya, meatball (for subs), various chips, dips, coldcut platter, cheeses, crackers, Caesar salad, cookie and candy trays, brownie trifle.
Christmas day we graze on leftovers. Our older kids/families will stop in so there is always plenty of food. I didn't try anything new. My family likes tradition during the Christmas season.
HAPPY NEW YEAR! I WILL GET BACK TO POSTING WEEKLY MENUS THIS WEEKEND. I THINK EVERYONE WAS BUSY ENJOYING THE HOLIDAYS!

I just saw it too, I have been so busy over the holidays. I do a Christmas Eve brunch, scaled down this year, only 3 other couples. Sometimes I've had up to 40 people. I have a big spiral sliced ham, bacon, sausage, a breakfast egg casserole, hash brown casserole, cheese grits, biscuits, assorted sweet breads, and a wonderful orange and coconut salad with Grand Marnier. I'll dig out the recipe and post it later.
