Does anyone use those Splenda recipe books? I have seen quite a few and was wondering if anyone has tried them and how they taste. I would like to try them...they look really good, but I don't want to waste time. If you have tried them, how have your BS been after you eat?
I prefer stevia--the chemical sweeteners are further adulterated by being heated and do not sweeten baked items very well.

i sometimes use Splenda,but I almost always use unsweetened Apple sauce,on all my cooking,especially on my tamales,on my cookies and other desserts I also use the apple sauce
I wouldn't be surprised. It's a chemical sweetener and your body has to work to get the toxins out of your system. It can aggravate already damaged kidneys or start the damaging process.
