Here is a twist on Shepherd's Pie. Tis the only name I know it by. I also know several recipes for non diabetic people for this as well. Here is my twist on it.

2 pounds of turkey patties (thaw and cook like hamburger)

Creamed Spinach (thawed out ) (bought at Wal-mart)

Frozen veggies i.e. broccoli carrots and carrots mix

Mashed Potatoes (mashed sweet potatoes found at the Dollar General)

First preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Cook up your turkey patties like ground hamburger make sure to use some seasonings like sage for flavor. Once your done, make sure your mashed potatoes are done or you can use Mashed Sweet Potatoes. Now tis time to layer this. First is the ground turkey, frozen veggie mix, creamed spinach, and top it off with your mashed potatoes. Bake for  30 to 45 minutes. Let it sit for 5 to 10 minutes and serve.

Have a great day!:)

Sounds good!

I use mashed cauliflower instead of potatoes to drastically reduce the carb count, and I don't use creamed anything...just a simple gravy does fine for us.
