I'm Jenl, group admin.  This is our first official year of homeschooling, although I consider us homeschoolers since the first day we became parents!  We have 4 girlies, 6, 4, 3, and 4 mo.  We teach the trivium in a loose classical method, we Grow Kids God's Way, and we are nondenominational Christians.  I never thought I'd say this, because I was born and bred a flatlander, but I love raising my kids as cheeseheads!  And hubby loves it, too, since he was born here.  Looking forward to talking with you!!

HI!! I am Danielle. My husband and I have 2 soon to be 3 sons. Our oldest is 4 and is in school right now (2 hours a day). Only due to my high risk pregnancy, and the stress from owning national trucking companies and well with 3 and 4 yr old boys- having 2 hours a day with only one is not so bad. I am the oldest of 11 kids and my parents, also in WI, homeschool. I can not wait to start full time as I now am homeschooling with ACTUAL preschool curriculum everyday for about 3 hours or so. I have made it so the boys are not even aware they are doing "work". We use Kolbe and Kolbe and some Seton materials. I said actual preschool curriculum because although my son is in 4K they do not have any structured curriculum at all. I hate that. I was also raised a "flat-lander" we relocated from the suburbs of Chicago in 1999.

Hello ladies! I'm Desirae (25). I've been married to Sean (26) for almost 5 years (Oct 18) and am a SAHM to Aidan (4 on Sept 23) and Colin (2 years- April 6, 06).

We're starting slowly this year with preschool. Aidan won't start Kindy for another 2 years due to his birthday. We then plan on a virtual program like K-12.

Sean's a bit leery about homeschooling so this is a good compromise.:) We'll take it year by year.
