I am up here about 20 min from DT St Paul...anyone have a list of good places for field trips - WI or MN? I have some, but I'd like other places I may not know about and that we have not been to yet as well.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Science Museum or Children's Museum (depending on how old your kids are), Walker Art Museum, Art Institute of MN, Underwater World at MOA, Como Zoo and sometimes the School of Vet. Medicine at the U of M in St Paul will give you a tour if you call them ahead of time and that's really cool. Also the Capitol Building is really beautiful and they give tours there as well.

I really want to go to the Crystal Cave in WI. Crystal Cave is the largest 3-level cave in the Midwest. It is located seven miles south of I-94, between Eau Claire, Wisconsin and Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota. Here is a link

Another fun thing we did last year was go to Pepin, WI in Sept for Laura Ingles Wilder Days http://www.pepinwisconsin.com/cgi-bin/viewnlcontent.cgi?nlarticle_id=5

YEP! We're familiar with Crystal Cave...it is in Spring Valley...about 15 min from our house. Great place - I would highly recommend it!
