Shannonhansen has been posting about the mission we are on and for all who are interested in going about all the hard work to begin our journey to end Domestic Violence, the group is open and our mission is in process.
I say hard work, because that is what it is. It's not going to be easy. There will be lots of rejection along the way, but we can't let that stop us.
Come on ladies. Let's not let anyone or the government continue to keep us victims. Not just us, but those that are current victims. Let's not allow another victim die in the hands of Domestic Violence. It's up to us.
Let's speak up and break this silence. Let's make a difference.
Let's show everyone that we will not be victims. We will only be SURVIVORS on a mission to make more SURVIVORS.

There is going to be a memorial this month in Austin. I plan to go with a friend whom will be singing for that night. Is there anyone that you know that needs a candle lit? Let me know.

That sounds great. Thanks for sharing that. I wish I could be there, but I'm all the way in NY. My husbands cousin lives in Austin. I will see if I can contact her to go.
As far as the candle, Maybe you and your friends can light an extra candle each for the victims that didn't make it to Survivors. That really sounds great. I think every state should hold one of those at the same time. SURVIVORS UNITED in the Fight Against Domestic Violence. Wow. Thanks again for sharing. |
