Do y'all have medical ID bracelets for your kids? We just spent a small fortune to get a bracelet girly enough that my daughter will wear it, (hand painted rose beads & crystal beads,) with enough information to make it useful. We actually added a charm to it for an additional $28 to add info. On the front I put her first name & her 3 diagnoses (food allergy, asthma, epilepsy). On the back I put her type of seizures (absence) & "Allergic to: Sunflower Seeds, Eggs, & Tree Nuts". On the additional heart shaped medical charm I put, "Use: EpiPen, Benadryl, & Inhaler" and, "Call 911" below that. I even spent extra money to add a ballet shoe charm, since Shayna is in dance. I really want her to wear this thing!
I've been toying with this idea for awhile. Then I spoke to folks I trusted who all have them. Then we finally went thru petitebaublesboutique.com & let Shayna choose her bracelet. She really wanted more than 1, but we already spent over $75 for this, so, I said no for now. But, of course, her wrist will grow, she'll probably grow out of her egg allergy, she'll need a new one eventually.
So, now I'm curious...do y'all use medical ID bracelets? If so, where'd you get them? Do you like it? How much $ was it? Did I engrve the right stuff?
