here on cafemom, and in this group, (AMP)

I have figured out quite a few abbrievations such as:

BF-breastfed

dh-dear husband

ds-dear son

dd-dear daughter

UC-unassited childbirth

CIO-cry it out

diy-do it yourself

EC-elimination communication

CL-consensual living

NVC-nonviolent communication (as in Marshall Rosenbergs book and website: cnvc.org)

I think UCP- is that unconditional parenting, as in Alphie Kohn's (AK) parenting book title

what's

According to the teens I know, bff is usually used for best friend and bf for boyfriend, though on mommy sites bf can be breastfed. And bd I associate with my bellydance groups cuz that's what we use on there. HS can be homeschool or highschool, depending on which forum I'm talking to too. Just depends on where you're hanging out, I guess! LOL
