Forgetting important things

I know some women talk about how when they get pregnant they start to forget things. How early does this start?? I just found out I am pregnant yesterday. Before that I left the space heater on in our apartment while hubby and I were out (for hours!). Last night I went to bed without blowing out 2 candles! Luckily they are bigger ones so they didn't burn down completely (and more importantly cause any damage).

Is this normal? Maybe just because I've only been thinking about being pregnant? I just hope it doesn't get worse!

I think it has something to do with all of the other things that you have on your mind once you find out you are pregnant but that is just me. That being said I started to have trouble remembering things towards the end of my second trimester. I don't forget things for very long, I just find my mind wandering a lot. I tend to remember what it is I forgot within a few minutes.
