Hey i'm Heather. Proud mommy to Rowen, 13 months old. I'm a full time college student at CCU pursuing my BS in Exercise and Sports Science. I love to run, i ve done many 5ks, 10ks, 1/2 marathons, and just finished my first full marathon (26.2 miles) last month. I'm starting to train for triathlons right now! Rowen is my training partner, he loves the jog stroller! i would LOVE to meet other active mommas in the area!

Hey Everyone!
My name is Niecey Colette. I am married to Dave, and have 3 little ones (Dakota 8, Denver 4, and little Davey Jr. 3) I am presently living in Batavia, New York, and planning to relocate to Myrtle Beach South Carolina within the next year. (Summer 2009)
By the way here is a family photo of us all.
Anyhow...........We just got our section 8 February 15th 2008 up here in New York State and have to stay here for a year before we can port it. We are looking to port (Relocate) as soon as we can. Probably in June 2009 when the school year ends here for the kids.
What I need is..................to find some good friends in the area that I can get to know, and become good friends with so that I'll have friends that I know when I get there, to welcome me to the area, and show me around, and help me make the transition. That would be awesome. I'd have other moms to go shopping with, work out with and go to the beach with and stuff!
Anyhow ......I am needing to find apartment complexes / townhouses that take section 8. I have no idea where to look at this time. I am trying to research it on the internet.
Lastly I just want to thankyou for taking the time to read this post. I have posted before and answered posts and even written private messages and no one ever responded. How discouraging is that ya know?

Hi I 'm Nicki and originally from United Kingdom, my husband is American and originally from RI , we have two beautiful daughters, Ashlee who is 2 1/2 and Caitlin who is 16 months. We have been living here since Nov 07. I have made some friends but none who have children. I find it very hard getting out and about with two active little girls, so generally only get out when hubby is about to help.
