Completely Confused

I had a follicle scan today.  My doc said that I am ovulating, but with immature follicles.  They did the scan after I ovulated (they said to call for a scan the day after I get a positive OPK).  How can they tell that the egg I ovulated with was immature if I already ovulated?  I know they saw the follicles left over, but aren't those usually immature, and the body doesn't use those?

Thanks.  This whole thing is so confusing.

Hi yest I am going through the same thing.  I had a follicle scan as well and they said I have one that is 14MM in size which is my largest one.  Did they tell you how large yours were?
