I don't know if I am supposed to put this here but if not, I appologize.
My oldest son played baseball for several years but decided he was done because a pitcher hit him in the hand when he was batting. The rest of the season he continued to play but backed out of the box if a pitch looked too close inside to him. My younger son began playing last year and LOVES the game. He wants to be a pro player so he tries his hardest and gives 110% at every practice and game. Win or lose, he has a good time.
My uncle started a new company with several investors that designs protective sports equipment. Thus far, they only have protective batting gloves for baseball and softball but have several other items being released soon. Once these sports are up and running, the company is going to expand to 20 other sports over time.
I am a Regional Brand Manager for the company and thought that I should share our product information with all of the moms on here that are involved with their children's sports.
The main protection on all of our products is called A.I.C. (advanced impact composite). It absorbs the impact, thus lessening the chances for injury. A.I.C. can take a 100 mph fast ball and reduce it to a 39 mph impact.
I don't know about you, but anything that will help my children be safer while playing and also keep them interested in sports has an A+ from me.
MLB has approved our products for the 2010 baseball season so keep an eye out for it. You will know when you see it because it is bright yellow.
Should you want to purchase the product or take a look at the current items and future items, the website is http://www.xprotex.com/ Enter NIKI10 at checkout and you will get 10% off of your order.
I would love to hear your feedback on the products. The only way a company can improve is by knowing what could be worked on or improved.
Thank you for reading this and I look forward to getting to know those of you in this group.
PS My kids are also into soccer and basketball at this time so I am very excited to hear what everyone is talking about in here!
