Delaware Tap Water Contaminated? (PIOG)

I have never seen or heard that and I have been in Delaware for 11 years.

Never heard this one before. But I wouldn't be surprised if we did...

I've lived in DE all my life.  I've never heard anything specific about the water but I don't know if you are referring to the natural, flowing water (rivers, creeks, etc) that you might swim in, well water for the house, or water for the that comes from someplace like Artesian.  Apparently there is a high incidence of cancer in the state compared to others but I don't believe it's neccesarily attributed to the water.  I"ve lived outside of Newark almost all of my life and have always drank the water from the tap and it's fine.  I believe it comes from Artesian.

hi ive got to reply to this one. ive lived here for 28 years and i gotta tell ya the water is very hard and taste terrible. the water has a high content of clorine thats for sure.  the water gives me heart burn so i dont drink it and i also try to remember not to cook in it. with all the chemicals here in delaware i can understand why you fears. my advice would be dont drink it get bottled water or get yourself a filter to place on your sink.
