Mom's House® Wilmington will present a Zumbathon® Charity Event taking place at Padua Academy on November 17, 2012.
Mom's House® Wilmington is proud to bring a Zumbathon® Charity Event to Padua Academy at 905 N Broom Street for the first time. This Zumbathon® Charity Event is a Zumba® Fitness-Party that is open to the public and will raise funds and awareness for this selected charity. The event will last two hours, breaking at 20 minute intervals.
The cost will be $15 if pre-registered or $20 at the door. There will be raffles, a 50/50, and vendors at the event. Raffle tickets will be sold 6 for $5. Any attendee who supplies a item to stock the Mom's House® pantry will receive five FREE raffle tickets. The vendor list includes Herbalife, The Pampered Chef, Tastefully Simple, and more. There will also be a massage therapist giving chair massages at $5 for 5 minutes.
ServiceMark, a leading provider of heating, cooling, and plumbing and proponent of children's programs designed to promote positive change within our communities is giving back to the public with a donation of water bottles to Mom's House® Wilmington for this event.
Mom's House® Wilmington offers a free, quality early education center for low-income single student parents. There is no other program in Delaware that offers this service. They strive to help the family entity through numerous programs offered at Mom's House® Wilmington. To families they offer tutoring, counseling, mentoring, and parenting classes. To the children they offer love, a safe haven to explore, nutritious meals, and a hands on learning experience.
Mom's House® Wilmington is a product of compassionate teachers and volunteers who commit themselves to every client and child that walk through the doors. The love and resources they bring with them are the components that have kept Mom's House® Wilmington operating for the past 15 years. To date this organization has graduated 70 clients and had aided over 160 families in their path towards self-sufficiency and financial independence through education.
