You are the God who performs miracles; you display your power among the peoples. Psalms 77:14
Remember the wonders he has done, his miracles, and the judgments he pronounced 1Chron. 16:12
Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the miracles themselves. John 14:11
This salvation, which was first announced by the Lord, was confirmed to us by those who heard him. God also testified to it by signs, wonders, and various miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit distributed according to his will. Heb. 2:3b-4
I finally heard from the Dermatologist who did the skin biopsy on John on January 9th. The test results all came back NEGATIVE!!! PRAISE GOD!!!!!!!!
John's neurologist had ordered this test to determine whether or not John had a rare condition with both neurological and genetic links to it. Seizures are a part of this condition. He did tell us what it was but said little else so as not to upset us needlessly. I however for better or worse looked it up on the internet. It is a very serious, rare, untreatable condition that is (this was the scariest and hardest part to think about) fatal in the late teens and early twenties!!!
The condition is called NEURONAL CEROID LIPOFUSCINOSIS or BATTEN DISEASE. Here is a link to learn more about it. http://www.ninds.nih.gov/disorders/batten/batten.htm
I am waiting to hear from the neurologist to discuss the results further and figure out where we go from here in determining what if any form of seizure John might be having. We are relieved beyond words that our precious angel boy does not have this condition and will have a full life with those of us who love him so dearly and deeply!!
We just want to thank all of our friends and family who have been praying soooo hard for a good outcome on these test results. GOD ANSWERED OUR PRAYERS EVERYONE!!!!
