That's awesome! I think that women (well people in general) with the talent to create vibrant pictures are just amazing. (I am a dud in the art department.)

Find an author site and advertise!!! I am also a children's book illustrator:) I just finished 2 jobs for children's books. I got the jobs by advertisinf on Facebook!
