Hi everyone - just wanted to say I've just received word that Highlights is reviewing my manuscript (an arts activity) - very psyched (and also prepared for ANY outcome....:-)

Update to all - they said YES! My article called "Ready, Set...Squiggle!", a 'one-page activity' about an art game developed by my father, will be published by Highlights for Children! Publication date TBD. I had received a response letter from them in late June with suggestions for changes and an invitation to return it 'on spec', so I busted a hump and returned it as quickly as I could, cutting even more words out of an already-short piece (ouch!). The hard work paid off!
