Hi Loni,
I am new here as well. I attended a McNair Scholar conference in 2007 at Penn State. It's a pretty campus and cute little town. I just started my grad school journey at the University of Texas in Austin studying public health with an emphasis in Epidemiology. My undergrad is in social work so I have been a practicing social worker in the field of HIV. I took 5 years off of school after my undergrad and am excited to be back in the swing of it. I was a single mom the first time around, so it was definitely a juggle. Now I am married with bonus kids and a toddler. A whole new set of challenges. It's all worth it though. ;o)
