Hello Everyone...

Some of you in are area might know how tight things are for everyone in the area....my home is no exception...

I might have to go back to work full-time which I don't want to have to put my youngest in daycare.  I have been there before & don't want to have to do that again.

Is anyone else going thru this?

I already am a CM consultant & have my own small baking business, which isn't enough steady income to sustain us through this tough time.

I feel like I would do almost anything out of my home to not have to go back to an office.

I guess I just need someone locally to empathize with me & maybe brainstorm.  Hope you all don't mind this email - as I'm reaching out for a friend to pout with.

Thanks!

I'm just Beach Dreamin'at the beachshooting photo

Hi-my name is Jill and I live in the Pottstown area. I definitely understand what you mean. I am a stay at home mom of 2, and my husband is a blast hole driller(goes to local quarries) for a local company. He works about 50 hours a week-this time of year-then as much as 60 in the summer. It is definitely getting harder to make ends meet month to month. I would love to work at home, and I have been researching it here on cafemom. But it is hard sometimes to tell whether certain ones are legit, and also I know I don't want to sell anything. I think I would rather have an at home job not a business since I only have a few hours to work each day (while my kids are napping). Also, I don't want to have to pay a start up fee, or monthly fee or anything like that. Oh,well, I'm still looking. Well sorry I can't help you, but I just wanted you to know that I understand what you are saying.

Oh gosh. I am stuggling with the same decision right now.  I have a one year old and I am working part-time and have kept him out of daycare, plus I have one day a week with him, just Mommy and me time.   My employeer says they can no longer support me in a part-time position so I have to come back or leave.  I feel like it is really not a great time to leave, it is an excellant job, but I don't really want him in daycare yet and I still want to be home with him.

I feel your pain!

I know how you feel. I have gone through much the same. I have found a few things online that help make a few bucks, but when I say a few, I really mean a few. But I am happy to share what I have found.

http://www.youdata.com/join/katora1 - This one is new, but they have paid me 3 weks now. Now it is ony a a dollar or so each week, but I can see that they are growing, and since it takes less than 5 minutes I am willing to do it. They send the money to my paypal account each Friday, with no minimum or asking. And all you do is click a link to a website that is selling something. The one was a soyjoy ad. No time limit or anything.

Mturk.com - This one is a task base thing. You complete little tasks, for a few cents each. It adds up and you can make a litle bit each month. It is run by amazon, and is completely legit.

http://hits4pay.com/members/index.cgi?tinara1977 : This one is one I do every now and then. They have a mimimum to pay out, I can't remember what it is though.

Hopefully these will help someone. Like I said it isn't much, but night help buy an extra pack of diapers or something. But won't help you stay home.
