staples?glue?stitches?

How were you closed up? How long was your recovery? I was glued and honestly have yet to meet another mother who was the same. So do you think your recovery time differs on the way you incision was closed?

I got staples until I left the hospital (I was there 6 days because my blood pressure wouldn't go down) and I got steri-strips when I left. I think those were taken off at 2 weeks. Those were annoying to get all the gunk off lol. My incision healed quickly and nicely. My scar is barely noticable.

I had staples and they came out about 2 weeks later. One of them pulled out and that was irritating. It didn't hurt as much as it itched really bad. It was also an annoying pain when they were removed. I used A&D ointment on it once it was scabbed over and that helped with the irritation and itching.

with 2 c-sections, I think I've had all 3 and steri strips too. Those things SUCK!

 I had dissolvable stitches. My recovery time lasted longer than it should have because I tried to jump back into life without healing first and I didn't take the meds they sent me home with for the first 4 days... I don't reccomend doing what I did.

closed with staples, my recovery was about a month for everything cuz I had an internal infection
